Mrs. Isabell Brower

Sullivan, Ind., Aug 14. --Mrs. Isabell Brower, 78 years old, a pioneer resident of the county, died at her home here as a result of a stroke of paralysis. Mrs. Brower was a native of Clark County and was born there in 1844, and came to this county when she was 1 year of age, where she had since lived. She was a daughter of Nathaniel and Mary Brown and was the last member of the pioneer family in this county. She was the widow of Philip Brower, who was a veteran of the Mexican and Civil Wars. The funeral will be held at the residence here this afternoon at 3 o'clock. The burial will be in Center Ridge Cemetery.
