She was born in Oberlin, PA, daughter of the late Cornelius and Anna L. (Clark) Brown, a graduate of Steelton-Highspire High School, retired from the Commonwealth of PA, Dept. of Transportation, a member and Church Mother of Greater Faith Ministries.
Madelyn leaves to celebrate her life, her son and daughter-in-law, Lionel and Carol Brown of Dudley, NC; her daughters and sons-in-law, Robin Britton-Forney and Alfred Forney of Harrisburg and Susan Britton Jackson and Doran Jackson of Charlotte, NC; her brothers and sisters-in-law, DeWitt and Loren Poindexter of Reading and Michael and Abby Poindexter of Philadelphia; her sisters and brother-in-law, Beverly Lewis of Columbia, SC, Joyce and Marcia Poindexter, both of Philadelphia and Paulette and John Davidson of Pittsburgh; her 9 grandchildren; her 14 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Her life will be celebrated on Thursday, November 3rd at 12 Noon in the Sanctuary of Church Without Walls, 104 Roberts Valley RD, Harrisburg, viewing 11 a.m. until 12 Noon and burial in William Howard Day Cemetery.
