ADA — Services for Audrey Lee Brown, 84, Ada, are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Worship Center Church of God, the Revs. Farron Oliver and Frank Trent officiating. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends and relatives from 6-7:30p.m. Monday, at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brown died Thursday, Jan. 4, 2007, at a local nursing home. She was born Oct. 13, 1922, at Lawrence to John L. and Eva L. Price Nuner.
She attended school at Centrahoma and lived in this area all her life. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church and was active with various women's ministries. She and her husband served as ministers for more than 50 years.
She married the Rev. Walter Ervin Brown Aug. 29, 1942, at Harden City.
He died April 14, 1998.
Survivors include three daughters, Alice Earl and her husband Ewell, Locust Grove; Wanda E. Miller and her husband Harlos, Ada; and Peggie Little and her husband Bill, Ada; one son, Walter E. Brown Jr. and his wife Patty, Ada; one sister, Pat Worstein, Fresno, Calif.; one brother, Ed Nuner, Theodosia, Mo.; 10 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Bearers are Curtis McKay, Keith Bonner, Hugh Bonner, Lance Bonner, Wade Brown and Buddy Cockrum.
