Final services for Albert S. Brown of Lawton, a former Apache area resident, were conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 17 in Lawton.
Mr. Brown died Monday morning, Oct. 15, at Memorial Hospital, following an illness of four years.
He was born Oct. 31, 1879 at Luray, Mo. He married Ethel Armstrong at Kaheka, Mo. on Feb. 16, 1906. The family resided on a farm 2 1/2 miles north of Apache for 30 years. The family moved to Lawton in 1938 and resided there for several years before moving to Clearendon, Tex. They later moved back to Lawton and had resided there for the past 13 years.
Survivors include his widow of the home; two daughters, Miss Mildred L. Brown of the home; and Mrs. Evelyn Hurst of Texarkana, Ark. One daughter preceded him in death.
Other survivors include two brothers, Art Brown of Kaheka, Mo.; Asa Brown Moberly, Mo. and one sister, Mrs. Amy Spchig of Keokuk Iowa.
