Blanche L Brown, 95, formerly of West Lafayette and a resident of Walnut Hills Nursing Home since December 1992, died Friday, Sept 16, 1994, in the nursing home.

Born April 13, 1899 in Lash, PA, she was the daughter of the late Scott and Margaret mcCain Luke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh C Brown, who died July 21, 1985; and also by two sisters.

Surviving are two daughters, Virginia Zinkon of Baltic; and Doris Krohe of Delmont, PA; two sons, Daniel Brown of Newark; and William Brown of West Lafayette; three brothers, Jerome Luke; Scott Luke; and Harold Luke, all of Pennsylvania; 4 granddaughters and three grandsons.

Private graveside services are 11 am Tuesday in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette with the Rev Kenneth Anderson officiating.

Arrangements are being made by Smith Funeral Home in Baltic.
