She leaves a husband, seven sons, Woodson, James, David, Walter, Edward, Junius and Dwight, and two daughters, Mary and Nellie. Woodson and Mary are in the East. She also leaves a mother Mary Brown Ashby over 84 years of age. Mr. and Mrs. Ashby came from Nebraska about three years ago to Pomona and removed from there to Artesia, where they resided about two years before coming to this place.
The funeral exercises will occur at her late residence, on Pine avenue, between Third and Fourth streets, tomorrow at 10 o'clock. Rev. Bell, the Baptist minister of this place, will officiate. Interment will be under the direction of Undertaker Sovereign, at the Signal Hill cemetery.
