HARRIS BROWN DIES AT S. F.
FUNERAL SERVICES TO BE CONDUCTED FROM HOME HERE TOMORROW AFTERNOON AT 2:30 O'CLOCK
Harris Brown, son of Attorney and Mrs. U. W. Brown, died yesterday morning at St. Luke's hospital, San Francisco. He underwent an operation Thursday and failed to rally from its effects.
Attorney Brown, learning of the critical condition of his son, left early yesterday morning for Davis by automobile, with Mrs. Harmon Albery. They were to board a train there. At Davis they received word of the death.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon from the Brown home on Jay Street. The ceremonies will be conducted by Rev. E. T. Nesbit. Burial will be made in the Colusa cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Max Yerxa, W. D. DeJarnatt, E. K. Sachreiter (of Sycamore), L. R. Turner, Harold Messick, A. B. Davison.
Harris Brown was thirty-three years old and was born in Colusa. He was the eldest son of Attorney and Mrs. Brown. He was a graduate of the local schools. Later he became interested in the hardware business here. Recently he has been employed in a bank at San Francisco.
He is survived by his wife, who formerly was Miss Serene Cheney, by his parents, by his sister Mrs. Harmon Albery, by two brothers, Waverly Brown of Colusa and Lovelace Brown of San Francisco. He was well-liked by everyone who knew him and had a host of friends who mourn deeply for him.
