Williamsburg Resident Dies

Mrs. Howard Brown, 67, of Williamsburg died early this, morning at Munson hospital after a lingering illness.
Agnes Semrow was born on January 15, 1893 at Novi and at the age of three years moved to the home of her sister, Mrs. Bertha Miller in Williamsburg.
She was married to Mr. Brown in 1913 in Williamsburg and, except for three years in Detroit had lived there since that time. For 28 years the couple owned and operated a grocery store in the Grand Traverse county community.
Mrs. Brown was a member of Traverse City St. Francis church and, until ill health forced her retirement, had been active in community affairs.
She is survived by her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Earl Gay, of Williamsburg; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Louise Semrow of Traverse City, and several nieces and nephews. Five brothers and. five sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10.00 a.m. on Monday at St. Francis church, Fr. Patrick J. Barrett officiating, with burial in Williamsburg cemetery.
A Rosary will be recited at Reynolds funeral home in Traverse City at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.
