Mrs. Alexander was taken to the hospital nine weeks age, after a week's illness, and since that time had been in a critical condition. She was a native of near Smithsburg and was a Miss Brown.
Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Evangelical Church.
The body was taken in charge by Undertaker Suter.
Her husband and a infant son survive; sisters, Mrs. John Bowman, Mrs. Bertha Smith, Miss Marie Brown; brothers, Otho Brown, Jesse Brown, Ira Brown, Charles Brown; father, George Brown, all of Pleasant Valley near Smithsburg. Her mother is dead.
Funeral Sunday at 3 p.m.; services at the Evangelical Church; interment in Rose Hill Cemetery.
