Mary Achsah Brown was the daughter of John B Brown and Achsah Wilson Brown. John B Brown first gatekeeper of the Baltimore Harford Turnpike, Baltimore County Maryland. Mary is listed in the 1850 census as 25 yrs of age. She was suppose to be 44 yrs of age when she died.
Mary lived with her sister Sarah Brown Dubree, her husband John H Dubree, and their son John Brown Dubree until the death of Mary June 1st, 1872. Sarah died Feb 9 1892. John Brown Dubree died April 24th, 1892.
Sarah's brother Benjamin Brown was living at the same address when Sarah and her son John died. Benjamin's home is in Carroll County Md, Hampstead and is buried in Wesley UMC Cemetery, Hampstead Maryland. Benjamin died in 1894. His wife was Sarah A Issac.
Sarah's husband John H Dubree died 1882.
Sarah's husband was a retired carpenter. Her son John Brown was a clerk at the B&O railroad. John B Dubree married Mary J Hennessy. Together they had one son John H Dubree. Lived to be 10 yrs old and is buried in Chester County Pa
Mary and Sarah had another sister, Rebecca Brown Lewis,
Rebecca died Feb. 10, 1850 in Carroll County, the wife of
Henry B Lewis and eldest daughter of John Brown. Baltimore Sun
WE do not know where her resting place is.
