Wilkins Brown was born in Baker, Louisiana in 1864 to Thomas Barfield Brown and Sarah Guillermo Wilkins.Wilkins Brown was called Wicks by his family and friends. He was married to Lilly M. Howell in 1886. They had 6 children. When Lilly passed away he married Addie Veazy on Dec. 27, 1904, my grandmother. They had four children, Juanita, Desha, Dick and Earl, my father.
My grandfather died when my father was only 8 months old of malaria as stated on the death certficate on this page. His mother and father also passed away that same year.
