Mrs. Brown's Funeral held at Newborn. Mrs. A. A. (Gus) Brown of Newborn died Tues., May 21 at her residence following a short illness. Funeral services will be held today (Thurs.) May 23 at the Newborn Methodist Church. Rev. R. A. Kerr, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in the Newborn Cemetery.
Mrs. Brown, 75, was a member of the Mansfield Baptist Church. She was born in Newton County.
Survivors include four sons, Henry C. Brown of Macon, Harold Brown of Newborn, J. H. Brown of Decatur and Raymond Brown of Madison; one daughter, Mrs. C. M. Coursey of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Mrs. A. A. Waldrip of McDonough; 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
