Mrs. Betty Tuck Brown, age 66, of Braselton, GA passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Vera Tuck; sisters, Vickie Dean and Judy Hayes; and brothers, Troy Tuck and Dennis Tuck. She is survived by her husband of seventeen years, David Lester Brown, Braselton, GA; daughter Cindy Slagle, Tennessee; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeff and Daphne Boyd, Pendergrass, GA, James Higbee, Ellsworth, MI and Charles and Melanie Higbee, Flowery Branch, GA; step daughter and husband, Sonya and Joel Turk, Oakwood, GA; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Hoyt "Bug" and Sue Tuck, Cleveland, GA, Charles and Jautanna Tuck, Buford, GA and Leon and Alisha Tuck, Dawsonville, GA; brother-in-law, Kenney Hayes, Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Brown was born January 13, 1945 in Buford, GA. She received her education from Buford City School System. She was retired from Mitsubishi Digital Electronics in Braselton, GA. She was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Lloyd Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
