A Prominent Citizen of Eminence
Passes Away

Eminence, Feb. 16 – (Special) – Lawson Esom* Brown died Sunday at 11:50 o’clock a.m., in the seventy-fourth year of his age. He was among the best-known and most prominent men in Henry County, the oldest citizen of Eminence save one. He was a dentist by profession and was universally beloved. His life had been singularly clean. He had done much to make Eminence. He was a member of the Baptist Church, and was both a Mason and Odd Fellow. Both organizations will participate in the obsequies, which will take place from the Baptist church at 10 o’clock Tuesday.
