Son of the late Jesse Clinton Brown (1871–1930) and Nancy Elizabeth Dye Brown (1872–1953) and Lillie Mae Fowler Brown (1903–1991).
Retired Clifton Manufacturing Company and a member of North Spartanburg Church of God.
Also survived by daughters, Beulah B. Pettit and Dorothy B. Ginsberg; son, Charles W. Brown; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Predeceased by a sister, Lillie Mae Brown (1897–1941).
Services were held at 3:00 pm, Sunday, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel by Rev. Larry Anderson and Rev. Charles Wycuff; burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family received friends from 7:00 - 9:00 pm, Saturday, at the chapel.
