Margaret I. Bowser
Margaret I. Bowser, 95, of Lower Burrell, died Friday, Aug. 25, 2006, in Bayberry Court Assisted Living, Lower Burrell. She was born March 21, 1911, in Sharpsburg to the late Robert and Margaret Copeland Brough and was a life resident of the area, having lived in Arnold before moving to Lower Burrell. Mrs.
Margaret Bowser had worked in the shipping department of Alcoa, New Kensington, and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church, Lower Burrell, and the Mary Belle Rebekah Lodge of the Odd Fellows and a former member of the Golden Aires, Lower Burrell, and the Lower Burrell Community Club.
Surviving are children Jack R. (Carolyn) Bowser, of Greenville, and Jean R. (Irvin "Bud") Hecker, of Lower Burrell; grandchildren Sherri (Gregory) Savchuk and Ronald and Richard "Rick" Hecker, and great-grandchildren Kyle and Ory Savchuk and Matthew Hecker.
Also predeceased by her husband, Marion Ray Bowser; brothers, Robert and William Brough; sisters, Ada Flinn and Ellen Moats, and an infant granddaughter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the RUSIEWICZ OF LOWER BURRELL FUNERAL HOME, where services will be at 11 a.m. Monday with Maj. Robert Myers officiating.
Burial will follow in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
