Briggs, passed away at her home 2313 Ostrander Ave. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Herbert and Robert, one daughter, Mrs. John Schilling of Pavilion, two brothers, William Brotherston of Jackson, Mich., and Andrew Brotherston of Canada. One sister, Mrs. Ann Miller of Canada and three grandchildren. Funeral from residence Saturday afternoon at 2:30. Burial at Mountain Home cemetery. Kalamazoo Gazette September 14, 1923 page 26
