Funeral services for Mr. Douglas K. Brossett will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2008 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Shawn Waggner officiating. Interment will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery, LaCamp, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Brossett, age 39, of Cotile Lake, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, October 7, 2008, at his residence in Cotile, Louisiana.

He was a native of LaCamp and a resident of Cotile Lake. He was a welder and foreman for Louisiana Container. In his free time he loved riding his motorcycle.

Mr. Brossett is preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth A. Brossett; father-in-law, Roy Lewis Haas.

Mr. Brossett is survived by his wife Rita Haas Brossett of Cotile; mother and stepfather, Roxie and Wayne Cleveland of LaCamp; father, Charles Brossett of Pineville, mother-in-law, Marquerite Enola Haas of Pollock; two daughters, Brittany Ann Brossett of Cotile, Tiffany Beau Brossett of Cotile; one brother, Chuck Brossett of Buffalo, New York; one sister, Michelle Brossett of Pineville; one step brother, Mike Cleveland of LaCamp; two step sisters, Ruby Pruitt of Leesville, Tanna Viscamp of Evans; godmother, Clara Dubois of Chopin; close friend, Sharon Hughes; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Setliff, James Setliff, Andy Brossett, Curtis Brossett, Rodney Frasier, David Haas, Mark Whitstine and Kenneth Setliff.

A special thanks to Dr. Robert Smith & wife Rhonda and staff, and Mike and Jessica Cleveland for their care and support.
