Graveside services for Carey Gene Brooksher of Elsberry, MO will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at the Elsberry City Cemetery near Elsberry.

Mr. Brooksher, 66, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2009 at his home in Elsberry. Born November 17, 1942 in Elsberry, he was the son of Forrest Edward and Charlotte Elizabeth Maupin Brooksher. He was united in marriage on June 16, 2000 in Elsberry to Jeanette Ann Burger. He worked as a Radiologist Technician for St. Luke's Urgent Care, retiring in 2005.

He was preceded in death by his father, Forrest Brooksher who died January 10, 2003.

Survivors include his beloved wife of nine years, Jeanette Brooksher of Elsberry; three daughters: Lindsey Brooksher of O'Fallon, MO, Mellissa Cobillas of Florissant, MO, and Erin Lundtveit of Wadesworth, IL; and four grandchildren. He also leaves his mother, Charlotte Brooksher of Elsberry; one brother, Dane Brooksher and his wife, Carter, of Elsberry; several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
