OBITUARY
Died on Thursday, September 1st, in the Tioga Co. Hospital at Waverly, N.Y., Mrs. Arthur R Bloomfield, aged 59 years.
She was a daughter of the Rev. Asa and Permelia Brooks, formerly of this place.
She is survived by her husband and five children: Rev. A. E. Bloomfield of West Webster, N.Y., Howard Bloomfield of Rochester, N.Y., Kenneth Bloomfield, of Mills, N.Y., Mrs. Donald Nellis of Barker, N.Y., and Mrs. Burton (Porter) of Miller, N.Y. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
The funeral service was held from the Methodist church in Candor on Sunday afternoon. Burial, Maple Grove cemetery.
Those attending the funeral from out of town in addition to the immediate family were: Chas. Brooks and daughter of Marathom, Mr. and Mrs. William Brooks of Syracuse, Mr. and Mrs. E. H. Brooks of Brockport, Mr. Geo. and Fred Pike of Waverly, Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Wakelin of Endicott, Mr. D. M. Sanford, Mr. Frank Adams and daughters of Churchville, Miss Ella Brooks of Rochester, and Mr. and Mrs. Swartz of Brockport, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd King of Lockport, Mrs. Henry King, Leo, Clarence, Christine, and Esther King, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Farham, Mrs. Dewey Bennett of Owego, Mr. Wm.
