FREEHOLD, N.J. Sept. 4. -- News has been received here of the death of the Rev. Arthur Brokaw at Weatherford, Oklahoma, of typhoid fever. He was the only sone of the Rev. I. P. Brokaw, for twenty-seven years pastor of the local Dutch Reformmed Church. The body is now on the way East, and funeral arrangements have not been completed. He was born in Jersey City about twenty-nine years ago. He was graduated from the Theological Seminary at New Brunswick, the Alma Mater of his father in 1904. He was ordained in his father's church at Freehold, and went west as a missionary among the indians.
