Frostburg, Md., Dec. 21 — Conrad Brode, 77, a retired miner, died at his home in Borden Shaft at noon today following an illness of six weeks. He was a member of Frostburg City No. 11, Jr. O.U.A.M., and Salem Reformed Church, Frostburg. Survivors are the widow, Sophie (Mason) Brode; three sons, Charles and Joseph, Frostburg, and George, Borden Shaft; three daughters, Mrs. Alice Woodson, Pittsburgh; Mrs. Sarah Munfle, Detroit, Mrs. Ruth Yund, Westville, N.J., and one brother, George H.
