c. 1994 "BROCKMEYER FAMILY HISTORY" AUTHOR LM

Henry came to the US in 1852 with his family and when his father passed away back east he moved to Kansas in 1855 with his mother, brothers and sisters. When his oldest brother my Great Grandfather Fred got land to homestead near where Hanover, Washington County, Kansas would be, Henry got land to homestead in 1865 that was 1 mile east of Fred's land. Henry married Wilhelmina Hollenberg. Wilhelmina was the niece of G. H. Hollenberg. He and his wife farmed that land and had two daughters Mary and Louisa. He was a Pioneer and assisted many poor families in the struggles of frontier life, which was the means of their having good comfortable homes.
There is one large monument with Miller on it and then one marker with each person's name and birth and death dates on. They are Ruby Red granite. There are the parents Henry and Wilhelmina, husband and wife, then two daughters Mary, Louisa and Martha, a Grandbaby of 2 who died. The other Granddaughter who was a teenager died. There is also one for Emil Miller who was married to Louisa and the father of the two daughters, Mary and Louisa. When Louisa died Emil married her sister Mary which was done a lot in those days.
