Daughter of Seth William Brock and Mary Ann Palmer. Isaiah and Martha had 5 children: William A., Anna, Emma F., Zenith and Mary Viola.

VENERABLE WOMAN DIES AT NIANTIC- Mrs. Martha Hallett, at Age of 72 Years, Answers the Final Call.--Niantic Ills, June 12-Mrs. Martha Hallett, 72 years old, died Saturday night at the home of her son Z. Hallett, one and one half miles west of town. She had been an invalid for over fifteen years, being very badly crippled from rheumatism and had been taken care of by her daughter, Mrs. Mollie Stinnett and later by her son Z. Hallett who has taken care of her for two years. Mrs. Hallett had lived in Niantic many years coming here shortly after her marriage to Isaiah Hallett who died about thirty years ago. Mrs. Hallett was the mother of four children; Mrs. Emma Benvenuto, Mrs. Mollie Stinnett and Z. Hallett, all of Niantic and Mrs. Anna Warner, who lives in Gallatin, MO. She leaves besides her children, three brothers, William and S. H. Brock of Niantic and Wesley Brock of Newman. The funeral was held at the M. E. church of which she was member. [The funeral was held ] Monday at ? o'clock and was largely attended. The burial was at Long Point cemetery.
