Robert Brobst, age 76, of Seaford, passed away on July 25, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born on March 21, 1939 in Marion, Ohio, he is the son of the late Paul Elmer Brobst and Dorothy Vaughn Brobst. Robert was retired from SAIC as an Electro Mechanical Engineer. He was also a contractor for the NSA. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and building model boats. Robert enjoyed watching nature, and many television shows that featured the beauty of nature. He also loved boating and enjoyed watching Nascar. Robert is survived by his loving wife, Carla Bauer Brobst of Seaford. His daughters; Susan B. Armstrong of Hanover, PA., Laura J. Morris of Pasadena, MD., and Stacy L. Zile and her husband Steven H. Zile of Westminster, MD. Grandchildren; Scott T. Armstrong, Matthew Malinich, Trisha Armstrong, and Travis Malinich. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Fred L. Brobst and his sister Polly Manders. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 11:30 am at St. Mary of the Mills Church, 114 St. Mary's Place, Laurel, Maryland 20707. Contributions may be made in Robert's honor to Compassionate Care Hospice, 28467 Dupont Blvd. Unite 6, Millsboro, Delaware 19966.
