Susan Elaine Kloepfer, 62, of Vanlue went to be with the Lord at 3:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Bridge Hospice Care Center, Findlay. She was born on April 14, 1951 to Donald and Lois (Thomas) Broadwater in Bluffton, OH. On September 23, 1972, she married Robert C. Kloepfer and he survives. She is also survived by three daughters: Holly (Tony) Fenstermaker of McComb, Rachel (Heath) Miller of Findlay and Meredith (Damian) Inbody of Arlington; a sister, Donna (Rick Phillips) Broadwater of Columbus, IN; a brother, Craig (Mechell) Broadwater of Lima and six grandchildren: Clay, Raegan, Isabelle, Boston, Grant and Claire. Susan graduated from Vanlue High School in 1969. She attended Bluffton College and Taylor University and was a music major. She retired from the Findlay Post Office after working for 23 years. Susan was an active member of West Independence United Methodist Church, where she sang in the church choir, was the church pianist and also played the organ. She loved playing and teaching piano. Susan enjoyed making family albums, watching her girls and grandchildren play sports, making pies, watching PBS, vacationing in Florida and celebrating birthdays with "the birthday girls". She also loved her dog Brownie. Susan was humbly proud of her family. Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at West Independence United Methodist Church, Fostoria with visitation one hour prior (9:30-10:30 a.m.) at the church. Pastor Steve Fisher will officiate and burial will follow in Lee Cemetery, Vanlue. Memorial contributions may be made to West Independence United Methodist Church and/or Bridge Home Health & Hospice.
