Barbara Jean "Bobby" Brittain, 73, passed away Jan. 22, 2012, at the home of her son in Sacramento, Calif., with loving words from her son to guide her on her way peacefully to the rest of her family.
Bobby was born in Phoenix, Ariz., on July 13, 1938, to Arllin and Jean Morton. The oldest of four children, she took on the role of taking care of her younger siblings due to the failing health of her mother. She loved to travel and spending her free time at the beach in Crescent City. She also loved to read children's books and enjoyed the Klamath County Library.
Bobby was preceded in death by her husband Charles, daughter Sheila, her parents Arllin and Jean and sister Darlene.
Survivors include her daughter Lynn, son Charles and his wife Anne, all of Sacramento; granddaughters Nicky (Clint) of Malin, Ore., and Brandy (Tommy) of Killeen Texas; great-granddaughters Caela (Nathen) of Jacksonville, Ark., Carree and Cassidy, both of Malin, and Summer, Gianna and AraBella of Killeen.
She was touched by many and she touched many lives.
Bobby also leaves a lot of close family members and friends behind and will be missed very much.
