The death of Mrs Daniel Brittain at Mulberry, after a prolonged illness, removes one of the well-known women of that place. She was born in Warren township, April 22, 1845 and was married December 23 1863 to Daniel Brittain. The family lived near Morris Chapel until a few years ago when they removed to Mulberry.
She was a member of the M. E. church. She is survived by the husband and six children, Mrs Homer Buck, Mrs Paul Douglass, Mrs Ross Holliday and William P Brittain, of this city and Mrs William Shaw of Oklahoma.
The funeral will be held at 2:30 o'clock Sunday at the Lutheran church 31/2 miles northwest of Frankfort instead of at Mlberry as announced. Rev Colvin officiating.
