Suggested edit: Patricia Britt "Pat" Boudreaux, a retired secretary for R.W. Byrum Co. and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2001, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 79 and a native of Ocala, Fla.

Visiting was at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, with recitation of the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home from 8:30 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. Sam Maranto. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmie and Susan Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; two granddaughters, Suzanne and Stacy Boudreaux of Baton Rouge; and a sister, Betty Godwin of Rocky Mountain, N.C.

Preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy J. Boudreaux Sr.; her parents; a brother, Guy Britt; and a sister, Imogene Clark.

She was a member of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Foundation, South/West Louisiana Chapter, 2142 Quail Run Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70808.
