A. J. Britt Sr., 82, of Many, died Monday, April 23, at 5:20 p.m., from an extended illness.
Funeral services were held at the Bethsadia Baptist Church, Wednesday, April 25, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Truett Alford, and the Rev. Howard Arnold officiating. Interment was in the Fenders Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Masonic Rites were held at the graveside.
Survivors are two sons, Dale Britt of Shreveport, and A. J. Britt, Jr. of Many; two daughters, Mrs. Vivian Bea Heard of Many, and Mrs. Dorothy Palmer of Zwolle; one brother, Henry Britt of Many; one sister, Mrs. Rena Brantley of Many, and eight grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren.
