Nova Scotia, Canada
Death: Mar. 8, 1954

According to his 1946 Westmoreland County, PA marriage license to Catherine Stahovec, Angus stated he was the son of Ferdinand BRINE and Mary BURBINE, both of Minudie, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The first Canadian record located for Angus was the 1871 Census of Canada, where he was living with his father "Fardenand" who was employed as a fisherman, was Roman Catholic, and his mother, "Filomeno?" (hard to read writing) in River Hebert (a town 17 minutes away from Minudie), Cumberland, Nova Scotia. Angus had an older sister named Mary who was born circa 1868. This census was taken April 30, 1871 and enumerator lists Angus as being 6 months old. Also living in the household is a 16 year old named Amelia BURBINE who is employed as a servant and a 24 year old named Mary BRINE who is employed as a servant.
