Michael was born August 4, 1947 in Carbondale, PA to William Briggs and Claire VonBeck.
He served as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a printer in the publishing industry.
He is survived by his two sons Clint (Bridget) and Ian; and two granddaughters Olivia and Sophia. Also survived by brother William (Sue) Briggs; sister Beth (Bill) and niece Katie Buis in Rochester, NY.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, June 20 at Babione Funeral Home in West Boca Raton.
