Freda June Bridgewater Bobbitt, 81, Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 26, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Freda was a member of First Baptist Church of Scottsburg.
She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 655.
Born April 15, 1932, in Scott County, she was the seventh child born to Forest and Frances (Morgan) Bridgewater. On Feb 28, 1979, in Seymour, she married Charles Carter Bobbitt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sons, David and Larry Maupin; brothers, Orville, Harold, Ivan and Forest Bridgewater; and her sister, Marjorie Cox.
