Mr. Bricco was born in Monico, Wisconsin, to Joseph and Jessie Bricco. He attended schools there.
He married Hope Oryall Feb. 8, 1940, in Elko, Wisconsin. Soon afterward they moved west, settling in Dunsmuir, Calif.
They moved to Klamath Falls in 1942. They also lived in Fort Klamath and Canby, Calif., before moving in 1949 to their Patterson Street home, where they have remained.
Mr. Bricco worked in the woods most of his life, retiring in the early 1970s after working for more than 30 years as an independent timber faller.
He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He also had a lifelong passion for baseball and was one of the original contributors to the construction of Kiger Stadium.
Surviving are his wife, Hope; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Ron Bickett, Sonda and Keith Castel, Karen and Ed Bickett, and Cynthia and Mark Wilbur, all Klamath Falls, and Linda and Joe Simon, Central Point; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Cindy, Klamath Falls; sisters, Edris Stevens, Rhineland, Wis., and Ruth Volk and Hazel Meyers, Kenosha, Wis.; grandchildren, including Vernoica and Ron Houston of Naperville, Ill., Larry Bickett of Portland, Jennifer and Don Haney, Christine and Dale Carland, Leah Bickett and James Bricco of Klamath Falls, Jerry and Beth Bickett of Tacoma, Wash., Lisa and Glen Elfbrandt of Mountlake Terrace, Wash., Laura Bickett of Bellevue, Wash., and Scott Castel of Washington, D.C. and great-grandchildren, Lindsay and Matthew Houston, Naperville, and Emily and Ashley Haney, Klamath Falls.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy.
