Abby Gail Whited Brewster, age 39, of Cedar Bluff, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2009 in a Charlottesville, Virginia following a brief illness.





She was born in Richlands, VA and was the daughter of Bill and Hazel Baldwin Whited of Pine Creek, Virginia.





She was a graduate of Honaker High School and SVCC and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Bluefield College. She was a former payroll clerk for Ramey Ford of Tazewell, VA. Abby was a loving wife, daughter, mother, sister and friend. She will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.





She was preceded in death by her Maternal Grandparents, George and Annie Baldwin; and her Paternal Grandmother, Dulcie Whited.

Funeral services for Abby Gail Brewster will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 9, 2009 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, with the Rev John Baldwin and Rev. Paul Baldwin officiating. Interment will follow at the Richardson Family Cemetery on Horton Ridge near Raven, Virginia. Pallbearers will be Lynn Clark, Jeffrey "Peanut" Hugart, Wayne Hugart, Shawn Fields, Cory Hale and Steve Beavers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Steven Beavers and Vern Curtis Beavers. Friends may call from 6 – 9 pm on Friday evening at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA
