She was born in Pink, Okla., on March 13, 1931, the daughter of Sam Branson and Lula Burchfield Branson.
She was a high school graduate who worked as a librarian assistant.
On April 15, 1950, she married Jim Brewer in Shawnee.
Mrs. Brewer was a member of First Baptist Church in Shawnee, Elizabeth Sunday school class, Junior Service League and the Alpha Mothers Club.
She had lived in and around Shawnee all her life.
Preceding her in death were her parents, sisters and brothers.
Survivors include her husband; daughter, Debra Dulude; son, Jimmy Brewer ; granddaughter, Michelle Dulude; one great-grandson, Christian Dulude; her sisters, Midge Foust and Thelma Tarbox; and numerous nieces and nephews
The casket will remain open until service time.
Services will be 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church in Shawnee with the Rev. J.C. Farrand officiating.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.
