Born in Dallas, Brewer was graduated from the Vickery High School and attended North Texas Agricultural College. After college training, he was employed by the Western Electric Company until he joined the Air Forces in September 1943. Training and service kept him in the United States until January 1945. He had been on duty only a few weeks when he was killed in action March 28, 1945.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Tressie Brewer; a daughter, Naomi Alice Brewer; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Brewer; and a brother, G. E. Brewer, all of Dallas.
Pallbearers will be G. M. Brewer, A. W. Brewer, C. L. Brewer, C. T. Stewart, S. T. Stewart, and A. G. Christian
