Mrs. Lula Bell Brewer, 50, of Lexington, and formerly of Rockcastle County, died Thursday, April 23, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was born in Rockcastle County February 9, 1920 the daughter of Mrs. Bessie Harrison Jordon and the late Arthur Jordon. She was a member of the Crest View Holiness Church.

Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Sherman Brewer of Lexington; one son, Henry Brewer of Lexington, one daughter, Miss Julia Brewer at home; seven sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Polly and Mrs. Irene Rowe both of Mt. Vernon, Mrs. Christine Akers and Mrs. Mildred Hartly of Route 3, Berea, Mrs. Marie Guthrie, of Fountain City, Indiana, Mrs. Ruby Rickels of Route 2, Crab Orchard, and Mrs. Pauline Rector of Wildie; three brothers, Raymond Jordon of Crab Orchard, Cecil Jordon of Wildie, and Bill Jordon of Hamilton, Ohio, and one grandchild.

Funeral services were held Saturday, April 25, at the Mt. Vernon Pentecostal Holiness Church with Bro. George Eads officiating. Burial was in the Isaac Cemetery in Wildie.
