Elizabeth is named as a d/o Ludwig Bretz in the publication: GENEALOGY of the LUDWIG BRETZ FAMILY, (1750-1890), by E.W.S. PARTHEMORE, Harrisburg Publishing Co., Harrisburg, PA, 1890, page 11. There is no conclusive evidence to date of where she was born or baptised. It notes in this BRETZ Genealogy that she married Henry "Bomgardner", and resided in Lykens Valley. Her birth and death dates are noted in this publication. This compiler feels that Elizabeth is buried in Wirth's Evangelical Lutheran Church graveyard, located in Killinger, Upper Paxtang Twp., Dauphin county, PA. Elizabeth received approximately 42 pounds as her fair share of her grandfather William Bishoff's estate; his will proved on March 25, 1783. As a minor over the age of 14 years, regarding her inheritance in her grandfather's estate, Elizabeth chose her brother-in-law Emanuel Duey, husband to her sister Mary, as guardian over her estate.
