Bethel July 23 - Funeral services were held yesterday for Mrs. Clara Brett Bateman from Bethel Church with the services conducted by the Rev. E. F. Odom and burial followed In the Church Cemetery.
Mrs. Bateman was born April 20, 1881 In Attala County. She was the widow of the late Joe Bateman.
Mrs. Bateman leaves the following children: George Bateman, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Ethel Deval, Detroit.
