BRENNER, NANCY N. Age 97, of Fort Worth, TX passed away peacefully on 08/16/2011 at Community Hospice of Texas Downtown Fort Worth. She was born on 02/28/1914 in Little Rock, AR to her parents, Walter Raleigh North and Rena Baker Hites. Nancy was an only child. She married Milton Joel Brenner in Olatha, KS on November 29, 1936. They had 3 children Barbara, Carolyn and Edna. She attended St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing and graduated in 1936 with a degree in nursing. For 30 years she worked as a Registered Nurse at St. Joseph Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a longtime resident of Kansas City, Missouri, Prairie Village, Kansas, Omaha, Nebraska and Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. Nancy's hearts desire was only to be with family and friends. She loved people and made new friends easily and kept them for life. She found great pleasure in music particularly opera, she loved to shop, travel and be a help to others. Her heart was always that of the care giver looking to reach out and help even when she wasn't even able to help herself. She will be remembered by her children, Barbara Siegfried of Fort Worth, TX; Edna Blecha and husband, Bob of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by grandchildren: Charles Arthur LaNore, Jr. and wife, Kim, Lisa LaNore Harrison and husband, Scott, Steven Christopher LaNore and wife, Gera, Richard Allen Illmer and wife, Nancy, Sandra Elizabeth Burger and husband, Scott, Michael Joel Mingus, Kimberly Michelle Blecha, Brian Scott Blecha and Michael David Blecha and wife Marisa. Great grandchildren: Jeremiah Joel Harrison and wife, Michaela, Mary Carolyn Uloth, Cooper Edward Uloth, Eleanor Claire Illmer, James Pearce Illmer. Great-great grandchild – Kaiden Johnathan Humbert. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Joel Milton Brenner and daughter, Carolyn Jo Illmer. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, Friday, August 19, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held at 12:00PM, Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Restland Abbey Chapel. Burial of cremated remains to be held at Restland September 2, 2011 at 2:00pm at gravesite in Whispering Waters.
