Abner Brenneman, husband of the late Mrs. Elsie Kessler Brenneman, died Tuesday morning, May 22, 1962, at Mains Convalescent Home, York, where he had been a guest for 2 1/2 years.
Mr. Brenneman united with St. Paul's Church by Letter Nov. 8, 1908. He was always a faithful member of the Church, Sunday School and the choir, was Sunday School Superintendent for a good many years, taught the Ladies Bible Class for over 50 years, served a number of years as a Church Councilman and was also a cemetery Director for many years. His age was 87-3-0. Mrs. Brenneman died July 8, 1954.
Surviving are nine children: The Rev. Willis Brenneman, Edna M. Brenneman, Ray E. Brenneman, Orpha Brenneman, Mrs. Allean Wueschinski, John A. Brenneman, Mrs. Hattie Fried and Roger Brenneman; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and two brothers, Milton Brenneman and Claude Brenneman.
Funeral services were held from he Goodling Funeral Home, Friday morning May 25, with interment in St. Paul's New Cemetery. Your pastor (Rev. M.L. Kroh) conducted the services, but was assisted in the graveside service by Mr. Brenneman's son, The Rev. Willis Brenneman.
