Maj. E. C. Brennan Funeral Thursday
Funeral services for retired U.S. Air Force Maj. Edward C. Brennan Jr., former Indianapolis resident, will be Thursday in Lake Charles. La., where he lived.
Maj. Brennan died yesterday in a Houston hospital.
He had lived at Lake Charles since his retirement in 1962.

A graduate of Cathedral High School, he was attending Butler University when the United States entered World War II. He was with the first group of B24 bombers sent to the European theater. He spent 38 months in Europe, first as a B24 bombardier and later as an instructor.

A son, is a U.S. Navy ensign stationed in the Bahama Islands. The major's late father, Edward C. Brennan, served as a Marion County deputy prosecutor from 1930 to 1942. His legal career in the Indianapolis area spanned 40 years. He died in 1962.
