"Obituary: Barbara B. Hershey, widow of J Hoffman Hershey, late of West Hempfield township, died on Sunday morning at the residence of her son-in-law, David L. Garber, in Maytown, where she resided. She was the eldest daughter of Adam and Anna Breneman, late of Manor Township. Deceased was in her eighty-second year and is survived by six children, as follows: Mrs. H.M. Mayer, of Rohrerstown; Simon A. Hershey, of Landisville; Mrs. Hebron M. Herr, of Lancaster; Mrs. David L. Garber, of Maytown; Mrs. Frank M. Herr, of Lampeter, and Mrs. Cyrus G. Frey, of Mount Joy. Two brothers and three sisters also survive, Benjamin B. and John B. Breneman, Mrs. Anna Hershey, all of Salunga; Mrs. Moses Eberly, of Mechanicsburg, Cumberland county, Pa., and Mrs. A.L. Rupp, of Steelton, Pa. There are also thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Deceased was for many years a consistent member of the Mennonite church at Landisville.
