Reamstown, Sept. 5 - William K. Brendle, 78, died last night in his home, Denver R.D. 1, after an illness of three months. A son of the late Esaias and Eliza (Kline) Brendle, he was formerly employed by the Reading Eagle Times. He retired eight years ago.
Surviving are his widow, Hallie (Zerbe); one son, Clair, Reading; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ida Lesher, Reading; the Rev. Winfield Scott Brendle, Denver; Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Weinhold; Eva, wife of Herbert Kern, and Beulah, wife of Howard Beam, all of Bowmansville, and Grover Brendle, Mohnton R.D. 2.
Private services will be held in the Good Funeral Home, Reamstown, Tuesday at 10 a.m., the Rev.Walter Reifsnyder officiating. Burial in Mohnton Cemetery.
