Funeral services were held for Mary W. Breland, 72, of McLain, February 28, 1999 from Buffalo Baptist Church at 2 p.m.
A native of Leakesville and a seamstress, she died February 27.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Hillman of McLain and Mary Helen Bexley of Lucedale; a step-daughter, Edna Earl Watford of Semmes, Ala.; a son, Leroy Stokley of Ellisville; a step-son, Roy Stokley of Morton, eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She is also survived by three brothers, Houston Scoggins of Pascagoula, Francis Scoggins of Bladon Springs, Ala. and Paul Scoggins of Chatom, Ala., and six sisters, Leona Ganiey and Lucy Neely, both of Leakesville, Anna Laura Nichols of Stapelton, Ala., Evelyn Coxwell of Meridian, Lucille McLendon of Newton and Vera Lee Price of Chatom, Ala.
Interment was held at McLeod-Magnolia Cemetery of Leakesville with Rev. John Miller officiating the services.
Freeman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
