Miss Stella Brehm

Miss Stella Marie Brehm, 68, of Columbus, a native of Somerset, was killed Monday evening when a car she was passenger went out of control and hit a culvert five miles north of Mount Sterling in Madison County

Miss Brehm was riding in an automobile driven by Mrs. Kathryn Stamm, 80, by whom she was employed as a housekeeper. Sheriff's deputies say the two women had just left a farm that Mrs.Stamm owns a quarter mile south of the accident scene. They were returning to Mrs. Stamm's home in Marble Cliff, a suburb of Columbus.
Miss Brehm was the daughter of Levi and Louise Diline Brehm and was born February 26, 1895.
She had lived in Columbus for about five years.
Miss Brehm was a member of Mount Union Zion Brethren Church atJunction City.
She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Bibler of Bremen, and Miss Aderne and Mrs. Mary Ashbaugh, both of Lancaster.
The body is at Thomas Funeral home here.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Rev. Herbert Householder and Rev. Robert Blaine will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Zion cemetery.
