She was born December 15, 1929 in St. Francisville to Ronald and Eula (Ridgley) Gray. Olamae married Joseph "Joe Dale" Breen on December 26, 1947, and he preceded her in death in September of 2002.
Olamae was affectionately known as "Sissy" by her friends. She was a member of the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, a homemaker to her family, and had worked and retired from Hamilton Glass. Olamae really enjoyed collecting cookie jars, cookie cutters, and cook books. She was also a big fan of Willie Nelson's music.
Surviving family includes: four daughters-Debbie Harrington of St. Francisville, Suz Gaultney of St. Francisville, Cindy Lou Sutton and husband Stephen of St. Francisville, and Penny Jo Breen of Lawrenceville, GA: four sons- Ronald Joseph Breen and wife Karen of Herrin, IL, Mike Breen and wife Donna of Lakeland, FL, Steve Breen of Allendale, and Kim Breen and wife Teresa of St. Francisville: sixteen grandchildren: numerous great-grandchildren: one great-great-grandchild: and one brother- Robert Gray and wife Doris of St. Francisville.
She was preceded in death by: her husand- Joseph "Joe Dale" Breen: her parents- Ronald and Eula Gray: one granddaughter- Britanny Carter: one grandson- John Bradley "J.B." Breen: one great-grandchild- Keagan Carter: and one brother Vic Gray.
A funeral service for Olamae "Sissy" Breen will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Cunningham-Nichols Funeral Home in St. Francisville.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. (noon) until service time at 2:00 p.m.
Burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery in St. Francisville.
