Son of Napoleon Bonaparte "Pole" Breeding and Charlotte T O'Bar, David served the CSA and is buried in the "Confederate Corner" -- though his was originally an unmarked grave near his mother in the family plot of Dawson and Cornelia Breeding Hodges.
Family records indicate his year of birth as 1838, though his military memorial marker is inscribed with 1841.
David died just one day after his mother's death in 1920.
He left one son, by his wife Eliza F Bell (whom he married on 29 Jan 1868)--Charles Alexander Breeding; no children by his second wife, Mrs. Mattie M Neil (who was a widow when David married her).
