Funeral services for Mrs. Reba Mae Abbott, 71, of Livingston, were conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 7, 2000, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Wayne Taylor officiating. Burial was in Miller Cemetery with Speck Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Abbott, a housewife, died Wednesday, October 4, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital.
Born October 21, 1928, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Emma (Franklin) Breeding. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Abbott; a son, Michael Abbott; and a grandson, Scott Smith.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include four sons, Larry Abbott and Billy Abbott, both of Celina, Randall Abbott, Nashville, and Curtis Abbott, Livingston; two daughters, Geraldine Smith, Hilham, and Earline Rush, Portage, MI; two brothers, Junior Breeding, Livingston, and Carlos Breeding, Monroe; two sisters, Mona Lee and Olene Edmonds, both of Livingston; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
